Clay Beechy '24-'25

"Clay Beechy" is what most people call me and is highly coincidentally also the name of my musical solo project. This collection is mostly comprised of songs I've written while living in Columbus, Ohio.

Far From Home

This is by far the oldest song on this project, originally written in 2021, it took me graduating, moving back home, then moving out to the big city (Columbus) to get it done. But it all came about in time.

I Know You

Somebody told me "I know you" and I probably proved them right by making this song.

Omens

oh man, omens...

Flashlights

I'm sick of watching people getting murdered on the street.

Wish that all the wealthy people'd see the souls beneath their feet

Sentimentalist

God would say that I'm heaven-sent

I would say that I never meant

To start the war

Begin To Start

I'm a bird, I'm a bee, I'm a flower, I'm a tree.

Lately I been wonderin if I should even be alive

Or if I oughta die to make up for the life

I stole from mom and dad, the youth they used to have

Back before the markets crashed and all our futures turned to ash

nowhere

When all things end all around

Return to the ground

The sky waters down

Brings life to the sound

And how?

Nowhere to be found...

December never leaves unscathed.
